Progressive Cavity Pump (Mono Pump)

Progressive cavity pumps (commonly known as mono pumps) are positive displacement pumps that transfer fluids using a helical metal rotor rotating eccentrically within a double-helix elastomer stator. They represent one of the most efficient and stable solutions in the industry for the transfer, circulation, and dosing of high-viscosity (thick), abrasive, or shear-sensitive fluids.

Advantages:

• Smooth and Pulsation-Free Flow: Operating quietly and without pulsation, it protects the physical structure of the fluid and prevents fluctuations or turbulence in the piping lines.
• Low Shear Force: It does not foam or separate fluids during transfer, preserving the structure of sensitive products such as honey, chocolate, or cosmetic creams.
• High Solids Tolerance: Easily processes highly viscous, sticky materials and aggressive fluids containing large solid particles without clogging.
• Self-Priming Capability: Delivers high suction performance thanks to its powerful vacuum capability.

Engineering Note: To ensure a long operational lifespan, progressive cavity pumps must never be allowed to run dry.
